The two most common building materials used
today are wood and concrete blocks.

wood and concrete blocks are no match for wind, fire or water. New building materials,
like isothermic walls (poured concrete in Styrofoam molds), are becoming more popular
even though the extra cost can be significant. With the price for cement constantly
rising, this type of building system will soon be cost prohibitive. All other building
systems combined do not amount to 1% of the total market.
